Ugly Wheels

I saw these on a Escalade yesterday - the wheels look like they're spining even when they're still. They are the most tacky - ugly things I've seen. The outer 5 or 6 spoke is (apparently) attached by a fan clutch or something. I'm sure they're expensive
and someone will sell the **** out of them but someone needs to call the good taste police.

I believe that basketball player who choked his coach originally came up with that idea. Oh yeah, Latrine Sprewell, thats who. He owns a performance shop. Saw him on mtv cribs once.

You're right - my tech educated me after she saw me post this.
She thinks they're "bad" which means they're good at least to her. They originally cost about $10k/set but some can be had for
5K now. The car later passed me and at speed the wheels look like they're going 3mph - why someone want's this look is beyond me but I guess the owner was pleased with them.

I saw these at the Butler tire display at the Atlanta Auto show. There were a bunch of people gathered around them saying how cool they were. A little too much bling bling for my taste.
