I used Liquid Glass on my daughter's new car about 6 months ago as an experiment (was looking for a polymer less expensive than the exotics for the other cars in the household). The car is a medium metallic red. The shine was above average after the initial application. Since then the car has been parked outside 24 hours a day, exposed to the sun, snow, salt, etc. The car is not washed as often as it should be and often things like sap and droppings remain on the car longer than they should. I recently cleaned the car in preparation for the second Liquid Glass application and was surprised how good the finish looked after 6 months. No stains or blemishes present. It seemed like there was still a protective film present based on the way the water sheeted off the car. Bottom line is that I plan to use Liquid Glass on my newly acquired daily driver due to the durability I saw after first six months of exposure to harsh conditions.
Now I'm wondering whether I should also put Liquid Glass and Blackfire side by side on the Z to see how much of a difference there is in appearence. Has anyone done such a comparison yet?
