Is there anyway that the sensors could be eliminated? Or could they disabled possibly through the ECU?

Because the tire shop started to scrape my old enkeis when trying to dismount them to remove the sensors, I left them in, and don't currently have them on either set of wheels that I have. The psi light has come on one time, but no others, so they basically deactivate themselves.
On another note, I installed new brake lines and pads tonite, while I was pumping the brakes with the engine running to help the pedal effort, both the 'brake' and 'slip' lights were illuminated, even though the car was up on jacks without wheels and the trans was in neutral.

Interesting note however, I still get the PSI warning light on, and I have been noticing that on trips that are around 45mi. long non-stop or w/o turning off the engine the light will illuminate. As far as the light s you got when changing out your brake lines etc., that does'nt surprise me, albiet that the VCS and "slip" & ABS lights would come on during or after a dyno run as well. I know they did on my GT.

I've probably only had about 2 trips longer than 45 minutes in the last few months. 1 of them illuminated it.
