I now have the the Nismo Clutch & Plate & JWT Flywheel.

JWT VQ35DE Light Weight Flywheel

Acceleration & throttle Response is noticeably better, I also have some new noise and sounds that accompany it. I had considered going with the "8lb Tilton Flywheel & Clutch Package":

but as I end up in a TON of LA traffic at time, and I don't track the car as much, I opted for a slightly more civilized setup, well worth it. I'm still testing to find the sweet spot(s).

Got my 140mph break in today on it.

How is the clutch take-up after putting on the lightened flywheel? I've heard that the loss of rotational mass makes the clutch take-up a bit of a PITA sometimes (hills perhaps) because the tendency is for the engine to bog easily now.

My opinion of this configuration I have, the clutch is excellent. It is possible if you were to go with the lighter flywheel it would be more easily bogged down/stalled.

The distance the clutch is traveling at the pedal is less, it's stiffer than my stock. I preferred the way the clutch felt before for standard driving, however I like the overall response and feel when I am performance driving.

When I picked my car up, I stalled the car as I stuck it into reverse, 1 time. Haven't had any problems since then.

I have to comment the following though as it may make my experienced biased. I have driven about 5 or 6 other Z's. My stock clutch always felt lighter/smoother than the ones I have driven, and the drivers of those cars made the same comment when they drove mine.

After taking my stock clutch/flywheel down, just short of 11K miles, there is no signs of abuse/excessive wear and I hammered this thing the first 6K of its life.

I'm no expert, but I believe that I drive very well (in regards to performance driving) and this may have heightened my awareness to driving and handling the clutch.

My wife, who is the best damn woman driver I've ever met, drove the car after the upgrade and she loves it.

The only downside of this flywheel is the additional noise. I gotta get going at the moment so more on this later.

Hope that helps.

What's the noise? Is this the "cement mixer" thing I keep reading about?
