I just picked up my new Roadster on Saturday night.

WoooHooo!!!

Took it out for a long drive up to the top of Mt. Diablo yesterday. It's awsome!

I can't wait for the 1200 mi breakin period to be over so I can really have some fun :D .

Anyway I'm looking into getting a clear-bra/x-pel/invisisheild type protectant on it. Is this worth it and what can I expect to pay in Ca?

One excited new Roadster owner,
LouieIV :D

I have a superblack roadster as well, but I am tetering at 1000 miles. I am itching to open her up. Good luck with waiting for the break in period, I am on the verge of not making it.

My husband was kind enough to push my new roadster to 123 mph with 300 miles on it. (I wasn't in the car)He doesn't drive it anymore. :hairy:
I LOVE my SB baby. You will get looks of admiration at every stoplight. Often, you'll feel the look and turn to find the person in the car next to you drooling. I've seen two SB roadsters in Atlanta. I get a little territorial when I see another one.

Enjoy!!!
By the way, Zaino, especially with the black.

Buy the clear bra. If you don't you will kick yourself in less than three months.

Front of my car is toast. Don't wait to get it installed. You need to do it as soon as possible before you take damage. I have one on AuburnG's G35 Coupe and it was worth every penny.

Oh see if you can find the dynashield clear bra. The guy who makes the kits is in atlanta, I don't know if he has an installer in Cali. It wraps the edges and looks awesome. At least give him a call.

The bras really take a whollop and still look good. I got mine put on 2 days after I picked the car up. Still doing good over a year later. It's been hit hard enough to leave 'cuts' in the plastic, but they're almost completely invisible.

And, point to date, I've had nothing hit me hard enough to damage the surface _under_ the film.

Well worth the money. I even liked mine so much that when my wife bought her new van, I had one put on it as well.

Down in San Diego, I paid $750 to cover my bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, lights, and sills with the clear bra. I drove the car directly from the dealer to my installer. Less than 2 weeks later, I found a small cut in the bra on the bumper. Damn glad I didn't wait to get the bra put on.

I just got a giant chip in my hood and I'm KICKING myself for not going with the clear bra.
