from a stop the Evo will win hands down... AWD is his advantage and one you can't overcome
moving, it all depends on the speed and gearing.. it will be close so it will also be up to the driver.
All assuming you are talking in a straight line

Hate to say it, but a betting man would put his money on the EVO. As already stated those who dont mind some abuse on the drivetrain can get them moving at lightning speeds on the launch, and it might be hard to make the ground up.
But, with similar HP figures, I would assume that you might get him on a high end freeway run (100+ mph) as the AWD drivetrain really slows a car down on high speed runs. What AWD gives in the launch, it takes away on high end. Just be careful of where you race him, and race him in a way that you will get him. Just remember to be safe, and then have some fun.
Good luck, and happy hunting!

We only had a chance to run from a roll @ 60 mph and I briskly walked away from him everytime ...FYI we were on a 3 lane interstate.....I even gave him a jump on me and still caught up and walked past him.....BTW ....He had turbo and exhaust mods .....I got over 150 mph a few times and will never do that again on a public road..I am very lucky ......racing should be left for the closed circuit

Interested in more details! Is this other car someone you know? Someone youve seen on the road? Someone that challenged you? Someone that you plan to challenge? An in car video would be great!
Not sure what kind of power he is putting out, but it may be significant on a turbo car since they reward owners that let them breathe! ( http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0312it_pplancer/index.html )
