Damn, it's good to see a post from you, RxO.
That looks like some sort of headlamp washer.

Welcome back. Long time for a hiatus.
Picture on home page.
What and where.
Is this an old photo?

That's that special edition being made in Japan, no? R&T profiled it about a month or two ago.
You're back!!! Excellent! For those newer 350Z owners who don't know RxO, he supplied us with advance info before the 350 was released, often times in the form of a riddle. Take note of what he posts.

Hi RxO!
Guys - maybe he is saying some are on their way to the states?
ALL BS

Yep its a high pressure headlamp washer - makes such a mess!

RxO You little devil! How ya been man! Good to see you are alive and well. Are you still overseas or have you returned?
Keep that cryptic info coming! :)
Hopefully we will have a view of the anniversary edition in a similar location.
Can you guess where that long nose was shot?

So, all you have to do is sit at the end of the line and...

So, the 35th Anniversary model is coming with the special bodywork? It's nice to see you back, RxO.
I can only imagine what your take is on the transmission issue, as well as the alignment issue. I've got my take, but I'd sure be curious to hear yours...
Thanks again for staying around.

Not the same bodyworks as the long nose...

I guess that ends the rumor about LeMans being done away with for 05.
I think the red was just darker since it was more shaded.
Now we need some YELLOW pics!

I have a piece of the Yellow Z sitting right in front of me. It's almost a Porsche yellow but the Nissan version has small tiny goldish colored flakes in it. Looks GREAT in the sun!!
I've been to the Zama plant with Nissan Shati group. Awesome place. It's like being a kid in a candy store with all them Zs just sitting around with no one to drive them.
Now that all the Nissan company are lurking here and not my350z there may be a new security at the "end of the line".
But you cannot stop those that want to communicate;
THE TRUE Z FANS WORLDWIDE
What happened to my350z?
Back to Japan,
No monies in hand,
Off to other interests!

How strange. my350z.com is in a parking website, no longer in operation, it seems. The owner can be reached via e-mail, but he has gone back to Japan, w/o making any money? I've forgotten his name. Cryptic as usual, RXO.

Is Nissan outfitting new versions with headlamp washers? What other goodies are being fitted to the 35th anniv edition?

If I didn't know better (or was around way back when), those almost looked like the cameras that were on the JDM Z's as options when they first were released in Japan. They were viewed through the NAV system, I believe.
For those that don't know, the wonderful advisor authoring this thread has been spot-on with all of his information, and has provided most of the extremely valuable data early on, and to date. Respect the source, and let his offerings lead you down the proper path as you collect more perspectives.
RxO, we again appreciate your efforts.

Hard to believe Tako is broke though. Maybe just off to other interests as RxO said.
Maybe jmanz will buy it back!!! :D

Elimination of Brickyard, now the collectable colour).

So many things are dependent on decisions.
The advantage for NNA is Carlos and his crew
looking for a home at the beach for him to stay
while commuting to "The Tower".
Manhattan Beach California looks nice,
And is so near to all that really matters,
For a frenchman experiencing the California lifestyles.
One week out of every month or more,
For the strongest market for Nissan Motors Ltd.
I look at the signed photo given to me,
He looks right at home in that Z.
An amazing feat in so short a time.

Where's Scaf when we need him. He always seemed to be able to decipher all of RxO's stuff.

My translation:
No yellow for you. Old fogies in control of Nissan don't think it will sell in America, but they thought a 3rd silver would be a good idea.
And adios AX8...

Was at NNA on 7-14. Got to see their museum and asked about YELLOW. I was told I couldn't have any info about the new model year except that my 'Zee-Bracket' will work without modification on the 2005 model. :D
As we were pulling out of the driveway from the museum, what pulls in but a YELLOW 350Z. My NNA friend, Susie and I just smiled at each other without a word.
Doc..just goes to show that even though we don't say much anymore, the oldies are still around

You know you're old school when you know about Scaf getting bagged by the crack security staff at NNA. Those were certainly the days...
It sure does seem like old times with riddles from RXO and raids on NNA headquarters showing up on the board.
Nissan marketing needs all the help it can get. They seem to be missing a huge opportunity. They don't use the Z image to sell their other cars. Mazda has the Rx8 in every ad and pushes the "Zoom-zoom" theme. The Z certainly has more Zoom and the Nissan line would benefit from having a picture of a spectacular Brickyard, Redline, DB, or LMS Z charging through the countryside -- An ad with the new yellow would certainly spark some interest!

Yep. I agree totally. I have no idea why "The Run" wasn't whittled down into a spectacular 30 or 60 second spot for the Super Bowl.
Didn't some of the past anniversary editions have a two-tone paint scheme (e.g. gold and black, red and black)?. Not sure how that would look on the 350, but might that be a possibility?

Wow, do you know how much a 30 or 60 Minute spot would run during the SuperBowl, it would be THE halftime show!

RxO, you misunderstood. Susie is Pat's wife. Notice the comma after "my NNA friend" in his post. He is referring to three people there. His NNA friend, his wife Susie, and himself.
Correct Pat?

But RxO you were correct in that Susie is one of the young ones...lucky me:D not as young as the good Doc's 'child bride' but then we can't all be cradel robbers:o
Padron, I was thinking od one of the PR personnel.
But I think her name is Nina, nor Susie. Confusion.
