Just wanted to say hello. I recently purchased a new 2007 Nismo Z that had been sitting on my dealers floor for 18 months. They made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Its car 0606. I have already put a Nismo CAI on it and have some other parts on order that should be here any day. I am also in the process of pulling out my interior to put in a small audio system.

Welcome to Frenzy. Nice cars. The Vector is very cool. What year is it?
1992 It is car 015 out of the 17 production cars we built. (the VIN numbers go to 018 but 018 is actually the 17th production Vector W8).

So you work for Vector?
Worked for Vector, Vector went out of business during a hostile takeover in 1993/94.
So I have not worked for Vector in 15 years.

Vector Huh! I never Heard of them, I don't get out much. How much does one of those go for? If you don't mind me asking.
A quick run down of the car:
0-60 in 3.9 seconds
1/4 mile 12.0 at 129mph
Top Speed 242mph
Skid Pad: 1.25g
Body construction: Kevalar, Carbon Fiber, S-Glass
Chassis: Semi Aluminum Monocoque with a 4130 Chro-Moly Triangulated roll cage
Original price in 1992 $448,000
Todays sale prices: $500,000 to $1.2 million (depending on the condition of the car)
At the time it was the fastest production car in the world.
In 1993 Vector experienced a hostile takeover by an Indonesian group known as Mega Tech. They went on to produce a car called the Vector M12, which was nothing more than a Modified Lamborghini Diablo with a cheap kit car chopper gun fiberglass body on it. It was a real POS.

So what you are saying is in that picture, the car is probably worth more than the house behind it? :)

I remember a lot of television commercials using the Vector in them... Always high end products...
Glad you got to keep one...

I wish it would have been that easy. I had to buy mine 9 years ago. I was lucky enough to know all of the owners. I just kept in touch and waited until a car became available. I was very lucky to be in a position to buy the car when it finally did. :colors4
