Got the car back today. All I can say is wow. Not to loud. I can feel the kick between 2500 - 4000 rpm. Working on getting a camera to do sound clips and in cabin noise. Dyno in 2 weeks to break them in a little.

Took the Z up to our friends at Balanced Performance. I trust them with engine work.

What did nismo do change them? Was something wrong with the first ones? Noticeable difference huh? Me=

Stock headers where fine. But I wanted to open it up some more. And give the car more of growl. If you think that the Nismo Exhaust rumbles. Add some cats and headers and you have a monster on your hands.

Okay. Finally got around to getting a video done. First I want to thank jtree007(joseph) for the camera mount. If you dont have one get in touch with him a must have. Created this video on my new sony video camera :-). This is my first attempt so bare with me. I have 2 more videos for a different perspective(windows up vs windows down). This one I was able to pick up speed in and the windows were down. Enjoy.
Nismo R tune Headers/Random Tech Cats/ Nismo S tune exhaust/ Injen Intake.

Cool video! Looks like that truck wasn't to worried about you. I can't stand it when people do that.

Did I recall hearing correctly that the engine needs to be pulled to install the headers??? Someone please let me know if I'm right or am I just cracking up?

not necessarily pulled, but unmounted and lifted a little with a floor jack, at the least.

Install........
I have heard of some not lifting the engine and getting the headers installed over a couple day period (!!!), but the most efficient way is to disconnect the engine mounts and lift engine 5-7". I had CrawfordZ install the headers & cats and that's exactly what they did. Took about 6 hours total. I'm just glad I live fairly close to Nashville - took a roadtrip down & had it done.
