Performance Nissan wins at Mid Ohio!!!
Rosser, Blake Give Nissan 350Z First Win
(August 8, 2004) -- Nissan 350Z scored its first win in Grand-Am Cup Series action as the No. 13 Unitech Racing Nissan 350Z of Kelly Collins and Blake Rosser took the checkered flag for the Mid-Ohio Grand-Am Cup 250 Sunday afternoon. Larry Rehagen, Dean Martin and Ken MacAlpine finished second in the No. 52 Rehagen Racing Mustang Cobra SVT after battling with the No. 13 in the last laps. The winner's Unitech teammates Mike Cronin and Stu Hayner finished third in the No. 33 Nissan.
Sylvain Tremblay and David Haskell gave Mazda their second win of the season in the No. 70 Mazda RX-8 with their ST class victory. Will Turner and Don Salama finished second in the No. 95 Turner Motorsport BMW 330i. Bob Endicott and Eric Curran finished third in the No. 27 Bill Fenton Motorsports Acura RSX-S.

Excellent. That would have been win number 2 if one of the Performance Nissans hadn't been rear-ended by the 2nd place Porsche a couple weeks ago.

Guys don't forget about the race at VIR in Oct. Looks like there will be a bunch of Z fans going to watch that race. Another good one will be at Barber in AL. the next weekend Oct. 9.

Great win for the 350Z. Boy that was some sorry coverage by SPEED. They show more yellow flag action than actual racing time. SPEED needs to get a clue. If it ain't NASCAR they cram the action into a 1 hr. time slot.

Well, they somehow find it in their hearts to give WRC an hour and a half, or sometimes a whole TWO hours, but that's to cover an event that spans three days sometimes.
I agree that Speed needs to enhance their coverage of the grassroots racing scene!
