They may change it from 350 to another number (based on engine changes), but I don't see the Z going away for now...

There will definitely be a new Z for 2009, it will probably be a 370z based on the g37s engine, I would say roughly 330 horses, with the GTR coming out the Z is going no where!

Decisions, decisions. If the shorter wheelbase Z comes out with more horespower I am all over it.

This video from Edmunds is quite good.

I like the mention of the new Z being a lot lighter. 3600 lbs is a bit porky. I hate to admit it, but the Spec I'm driving does a great job of capturing that light/nimble track star feeling. For what it is, this car makes me grin at least once a day. I hope the new Z will do that, and flatten my eyeballs a bit at the same time.

The Z still lives on! Hardly any changes for the '08 model but yeah....'09 model is the next generation. I really believe with the next generation .... the rag top roadster will be history & Nissan will have the aluminum folding roof to replace the rag top roadster. Too many problems with the rag tops! One guy had 3 tops replaced & I had mine replaced too!
