Road Trip!!!

I drove down to Houston to go to SGP so I could try and get my boost controller issue resolve and also picked up my NA bolton parts that had been in storage there since November. So I made a 2 day road trip out of it and saw some interesting things along the way and driving on the small farm and market roads through 3 national forest in east Texas was a blast. I drove my daily driver (04' Sentra SE-R) and even though I drove the wheels off that thing my fuel economy was awesome, I averaged 28.9 mpg (most was highway).

I'm thinking about selling my NA bolt-ons plus some other stuff so this is just a feeler but here's what I've got:

-Injen CAI
-Unorthodox Racing crank pully
-Megan Racing headers
-Intense Powersports resonated test pipes
-Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs
-Greddy E-manage blue

Why are you selling your springs? Coilover?

What was the interesting thing you saw?

Sounds like a good trip. I am guessing you took your DD because of having to haul parts?

Stogey- I thought about giving you and one of the G site members a PM but this trip was spur of the moment. One of the interesting things I saw was just 2 blocks away from SPG, I looked across an intersection and say a asian grocery store called "THANGS HUNG" in bright neon, I just busted out laughing.

I got the Tein Flex coil overs a while back.

wO- Thanks man, It's nice to have a second car if someting goes wrong, plus with gas being $$$ now it is nice to have a car that averages 25mpg in the city and hwy.

Sean- They will give you about 1.2 inch drop, trust me it will look awesome on your car. I'll give you a sweet packaage deal if you want, just let me know.

Auburn- It was a scheduling error at work that affored me this apportunity, Yeah for me!!! I was ready for some time off. The Z just didn't have enough room plus I am still looking to find an inspection sticker, I am 7 months overdue now.

Another funny thing, I stopped in Garrison Texas (population <1000) to get some dinner at a cafe on the town square, it was called the "Dinner Bell". There were 4 people sitting outside on bench all of which were employees, as soon as I pulled up they started to scramble and they acted like kids at lemon-aid stand, I'd be willing to bet I was one of their only customers all day but the service was great and the chicken fried steak with cream gravy was out of this world!!

7 months overdue for inspection--what are you looking for? Do your mods make it hard to pass? What do they check for in Texas?

Moto. pm me details. i need springs bad!! but thats all im really interested in. i dont like CAI's that much, its the one that goes down to your wheels well right? if so im not that interested. plus im kinda broke, lmk holmes!

Bigger injectors and V-pro without MAF mod caused the CEL to light u like a dutch brothel. I tried to clear the code with a OBD 2 scanner but the people at the inspection facility knew what I did and said nice try. All my hook ups are gone but I am talking with some that said he knows someone that has a cousin that knows someone, we'll see.

You are correct about the CAI but you can make it a short tube because it is in sections.

BC coilovers are the shizzle from what if heard and they cost about $1K.
